This part-time, 3.5 year program
- is designed for people who wish to work full-time (or nearly full-time) while also pursuing their degree,
- ܲFederal Direct student loans to cover tuition costsand some living expenses, and
- offers time to integrate the clinical learning with the self reflective aspects of the program.
Financial Example:
Most students who are enrolled full-time qualify for $20,500 (less the origination fee) in Federal Direct Student Loans each academic year, less if enrolled part or three-quarter time. Withthis plan, Federal Direct Student LoansDZ tuition*, fees and some living expenses.
- Year 1: 16quarter units at 2017-18 rate of $570 per quarter unit = $9,120 + $330 fees = $9,450
- Year 2*: 34unitsat 2017-18 rate of $570 per quarter unit = $19,380 + $660 fees = $20,040
- Year 3*: 29quarter unitsat 2017-18 rate of $570 per quarter unit = $16,530 + $660 fees = $17,190
- Year 4*: 12quarter unitsat 2017-18 rate of $570 per quarter unit = $6,800 + $330 fees = $7,170
If the tuition and fees owed in a year exceed the amount of student loans available, additional funds fromscholarships, savings, work income, gift or loan from family are needed. Tuition and fees due at registration. Payment plans are available to assist you.
Additional costs (living expenses, books, personal therapy requirement, travel expenses, etc.)are not included in the above calculations but are estimated in the Cost of Attendance.
* Please note that tuition and fees typically increase each fall. These numbers are used to provide an example of anticipated tuition and fees, but they will change annually.
